Take action on data security
In 2007, the Legislature approved Assembly Bill (AB) 779. Unfortunately, Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed the League-sponsored legislation. In 2008, we are moving forward with new data security legislation: AB 1779!

Take action on mortgage lending
Recently, several bills calling for burdensome new mortgage lending requirements have been introduced. This is your chance to voice the credit union perspective.

Two exciting days of learning and interaction
You will be briefed on the legislative, regulatory, and political issues affecting your credit union. After the briefing, you’ll meet with your elected officials and have networking opportunities with your colleagues. How many other conferences let you do all that?

Represent your credit union by day, network with legislators by night
Legislators are most responsive when they’re visited by their own constituents. The more districts present at the rally, the greater impact we’ll have!

Only $399 in our state capital
Making a difference won’t require a lot of money and travel time—just dedication and a willingness to speak out for credit unions!
