Develops and implements departmental strategies, policies and programs necessary to achieve the credit union’s strategic and business plan goals. Leads and provides expertise in all functions of the Membership Development department. Directs the promotional campaigns and special events with the academic community and community at large. Coordinates school visits and develops relationships within our field of Membership to attract and retain new Members. Overall responsibility for staff training and development. Provides direction to the team in order to manage, maintain, retain and develop relationships as necessary to increase Membership, as well as reach organizational business goals and objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
-Prepares project plans, including scheduling, costs, personnel matters and other operational concerns.
-Develops, implements and oversees tracking of department documentation and goals, as well as ensuring the organization’s goals and objectives are met.
-Performs public presentations, which support the organization’s community and civic objectives.
-Prepares, submits and oversees the budget for the Membership Development Department.
-Commitment includes ability to attend after hours and weekend functions as necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3 – 5 years previous experience, knowledge of educational community preferred.
