|Job Description||The Board of Directors of Mid Cities Credit Union (MCCU) is searching for a President/CEO. The credit union is located in the mid cities area south of Los Angeles and serves surrounding communities. The credit union was founded in 1937. Its assets exceed $23 million and serve more than 4,500 members. MCCU is privately insured and holds a state charter.
This position represents an opportunity to leverage a solid financial position and strategically focused organization to advance the economic status of surrounding communities. In collaboration with a diverse and forward thinking board of directors, the new CEO will be charged with the execution of organizational growth strategies focused around community development and membership diversification initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of providing leadership in organizations driven by innovative technologies/remote delivery, strong lending operations, robust sales and service cultures, and community outreach. This is an opportunity to work with an established leadership team possessing strong functional capabilities, who are dedicated to the credit union’s future success. Candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years broad based senior leadership experience in a credit union with a history of solid financial performance and have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with a diverse community in some capacity i.e. voluntary, public service, or employee. A bachelor’s degree is required.
