|Job Description||Mid Cities Credit Union (MCCU) is searching for an Accounting Manager. The salary range is up to $57,500 annually with a full range of benefits. The credit union is located in the mid cities area south of Los Angeles and serves surrounding communities. The credit union was founded in 1937. Its assets exceed $23 million and it serves more than 4,500 members. MCCU is privately insured and holds a state charter.
This position represents an opportunity to utilize solid financial skills to bolster the strategic position of the organization and make an impact on the economic status of surrounding communities. In collaboration with the CEO and management team, the Accounting Manager will be charged with the execution of financial oversight and reporting in order to allow management to make informed decisions.
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical skill set utilizing accounting and financial methods. Possession of financial reporting oversight skills is highly prized. Solid communication and basic investment portfolio management skills are important. Ability to manage and direct a staff of accountants is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field and at least 5 years in a financial / accounting management role also is required.
