|Job Description||Mission City Federal Credit Union is excited to present our newly created Controller position. This position provides oversight of all accounting at the Credit Union. Responsible for implementing and maintaining adequate internal control structures to ensure accurate financial reports. Adds value to the organization by ensuring accurate analysis of trends, budget to actual variances, and reporting of all necessary accounting information.
MCFCU is a financially strong credit union that was founded in 1959 to serve the city employees of the city of Santa Clara. Currently in addition to the city employees and their families we serve the Faculty, Staff and students of Santa Clara University. At $75M in assets we are positioned for growth with a strong membership base and growing field of membership.
This position will have a vital role in the future growth of the credit union. Along with the growth of the credit union will come opportunities for a strong performer in this position. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in accounting preferably at a credit union demonstrating progressive levels of responsibility including supervising others. A strong background in Asset Liability Management, budgeting and forecasting are desired. Experience with Fiserv / Portico and Wisdom platforms are preferred however not required. We are looking for a candidate that holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
