|Job Description||SUMMARY: Under general supervision oversees card operations. Maintains responsibility for all applicable general ledger accounts, reviews exception reports, maintains and monitors all card reports, interfaces with branch managers to ensure effective operational practices and minimize potential losses. Assists with training of department and branch personnel. Develops, evaluates and recommends department procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with Quality Member Service being the primary responsibility of this position. Other duties may be assigned.
Must maintain the Credit Union Policies regarding Standards of Conduct and Confidentiality.
Responds to phone calls in a prompt and professional manner.
Responds to all CAMS notifications and leads all fraud investigations.
Responds to inquires and resolves issues pertaining to the Quest Home Banking/Bill Pay platform.
Monitors the County/Business Card program.
Represents Credit Union in a professional and positive manner.
Assists in developing and maintaining card policies and procedures.
Maintains the procedure manual for the area, to be done quarterly with each section reviewed annually.
Assists with implementation and testing of new services.
Is the primary contact and Credit Union Liaison for the card processing vendors, monitoring service, technician and outside servicing vendors to resolve problems, initiate change, follow-up and monitor performance.
Coordinates work flow to card staff to insure that the work is kept current.
Trains staff to insure that each position can be covered from within the group.
Acts as a backup to all positions relating to Card Services Department.
Responsible for the chargeback processing, proper adjustments to member accounts and general ledger accounts. Completes required research within the given policy guidelines.
Completes documentation on all card fraud/forgery claims and files with the insurance carrier.
Monitors the ATM uptime reports to insure 98% or higher uptime is maintained.
Provides management with monthly statistical reports.
Performs other duties as required by the demands of the daily operations of the Credit Union as/or requested by Management.
