|Job Description||ILWU Credit Union is seeking a full time Human Resources Manager.
This position reports directly to the President/CEO and is responsible for managing all Human Resources duties. The HR Manager will be responsible for providing overall organizational direction in all areas of human resources management, including benefits, compensation, recruitment, HR technology and employee relations; in a partially unionized environment. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing personnel policies and procedures; guiding and developing management and staff; handling payroll; and administering benefits.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience in human resources and a minimum two (2) years in HR management is required. The ideal candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, in addition to strong organizational, planning and leadership abilities. Thorough knowledge of applicable HR laws and regulations is also required.
