PREPARE FOR REGULATORY CHANGES
updated 09/16/13 02:50 PM
Only Four Seminar Dates Left
This year’s regulatory update will once again contain a plethora of challenging new and changing regulations for lending and operations. Is your credit union prepared?

Make sure your credit union is ahead of the game during the 2013 Regulatory Update Seminar. Compliance expert Mary-Lou Heighes will help you understand the new mortgage requirements taking effect in January 2014, plus additional information on lending and operations compliance, and current hot topics.

You will be able to:

  • Keep up with regulatory changes by getting the latest lending, account administration, operations, and other compliance information you need.
  • Increase your ability to manage, monitor, and maintain effective compliance procedures.
  • Discuss regulatory changes and challenges with your peers in a relaxing networking environment created exclusively for credit union professionals.
  • Gauge your credit union's preparedness for pending mortgage changes—from newly revised disclosures to changes in notice requirements.

Other topics to be covered during the session include an update on Garnishment of Federal Benefits Payments, best practices for avoiding corporation account takeovers, dealing with the renewed interest in Fair Lending examinations and the Disparate Impact Rule, and more.

Only four dates are left for this seminar—Sept. 18 (Ontario, CA), Sept. 19 (Hawthorne, CA), Sept. 24 (Anaheim Hills, CA), and Sept. 26 (Las Vegas, NV).
