ECONOMIC FORUM REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Speaker Line-Up Announced
Registration for the 36th annual Economic Forum on Oct. 22-23 is now open, hosted by Catalyst Corporate FCU.

This year’s forum entitled “Recovery and Beyond” will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Frisco, TX, where seven economists and financial industry experts will share valuable insights to help credit unions prepare for the future.

Speakers and topics include:

Kathleen Cooper—Former Under Secretary for Economic Affairs of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Topic: The impact of rising energy production in the U.S. on the financial marketplace.

Bill Hampel—Chief Economist for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).
Topic: How current economic changes may impact credit unions.

Bill Conerly—Former bank executive.
Topic: How to position your credit union for the coming decade.

Marci Rossell—Former Chief Economist for CNBC.
Topic: What lies ahead for the U.S. economy.

Randy Harrington—CEO of Extreme Arts and Sciences.
Topic: Credit unions and the need for evolution.

Jim Van Dyke—CEO of Javelin Strategy and Research, a division of Greenwich Associates.
Topic: New trends in mobile banking.

Ed Yardeni—President of Yardeni Research, Inc.
Topic: Federal action and market reaction as it relates to credit unions.

The Economic Forum will be preceded by the Financial Management Seminar, a complimentary educational session that provides credit unions with information on balance sheet management, on Oct. 21.

Catalyst's Economic Forum is an opportunity for credit union leaders to obtain the critical information and analysis they need to make sound operational, marketing, and service-oriented decisions that will benefit their members.
