Economic Outlook Video
Catalyst Corporate FCU and Catalyst Strategic Solutions have launched an investment and economic training initiative for 2014: Catalyst Corporate’s Credit Union Blueprint—an annual economic outlook delivered for the first time as a video production.
The program will broadcast on Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time, and will be presented by Brian Turner, director and chief strategist for Catalyst Strategic Solutions.
“Credit unions will benefit from having information they need delivered in a dynamic format,” said Catalyst Corporate VP of Investment Services, Mike McGinnis. “We believe this broadcast will improve retention of the material by making it more engaging.”
During the educational program, Catalyst Corporate staff members will explain the connections between market and economic events and credit union balance sheets and operations, providing a blueprint that is tailored to credit union needs and priorities. The 2014 Credit Union Blueprint will specifically include a discussion of how economic growth will impact member spending, loan growth projections, liquidity, investments and cost of funds, among other current issues.
