Altura CU collected backpacks full of new school supplies from members and employees throughout its branches in support of Riverside County's "Fill a Back Pack" Program—administered by the Department of Mental Health's Parent Support and Training Program. Members and staff filled 11 boxes with school supplies, and 15 backpacks were donated as well. Altura CU also recently launched a checking account designed to help people get back on their feet financially. The new Reliance Checking Account addresses the local Inland Empire economy still lagging in its return to normalcy, and is designed to help the individuals caught in its wake. The new checking account comes with a regular Visa Debit Card, online banking, mobile banking, and eStatements.
