Farmers Insurance Group FCU is one of three credit unions across the nation that recently purchased a principal-ownership controlling stake in Business Partners, a full-service member business lending credit union service organization (CUSO) owned by several credit unions. The National Credit Union Administration, which took control of the CUSO as the liquidating agent of Telesis Community CU, recently reached an agreement to sell the controlling interest to a managing-partner group consisting of the three credit unions. The other two controlling-stake owners are Great Lakes CU (Illinois) and Public Service CU (Colorado).
