updated 01/07/13 10:27 AM ALTURA CU Altura CU continued a holiday tradition recently by raising funds for Riverside County Medical Center’s Pediatrics Units as part of the 23rd Annual Festival of Trees. Fifty local organizations, including Altura CU, each decorated a Christmas tree that was "sold" as part of the event, with the proceeds going to the medical center. Each year, the five-day event attracts more than 30,000 people and raises about $500,000 in proceeds used to purchase much-needed equipment for the children’s units.
