April 6-8 in Sacramento
Three events crucial to supporting the credit union cause are coming to Sacramento, and you won’t want to miss out!
2014 California Government Relations Rally (GRR) (April 7-8, The Citizen Hotel) Join other credit union leaders and advocates for an opportunity to discuss face-to-face with legislators about current and pending legislation affecting credit unions and the movement. Plus, additional educational programming featuring agency speakers and hot topics, and valuable networking will keep your credit union relevant.
The success of past lobby days in Sacramento have had significant impact on credit unions, including passing legislation related to financial literacy, lifeline services, credit union exemption from onerous foreclosure, and much more. Your attendance can defeat other harmful bills pending before lawmakers today. Make it count.
CEO/Chair Roundtable (April 7, The Citizen Hotel) This is your opportunity to engage in conversation with credit union CEOs and chairmen about specific issues impacting your credit union.
Credit Union SacTown Ten-Mile Run (April 6, in front of the state capitol building) Tighten your running shoelaces and help make a difference in the lives of ill children at this year's Credit Union SacTown Ten-Mile Run. Suitable for all family members, the event features a 10-mile race, 3-person relay, and the kids’ Miracle Mile. The flat, fast course kicks off at the California state capitol building and leads runners through the “best of Sacramento.”
