Redwood CU was named the “Large Business of the Year” by the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce for its outstanding contributions to the community and nonprofit organizations. In staffing news, Redwood CU has hired Meg Cadiz as its new nonprofit community program manager. In this role, Cadiz is responsible for all aspects of the credit union’s nonprofit community efforts, including planning, budgeting, building, and executing support programs. She will also oversee the Redwood CU Community Fund to support financial literacy and wellness opportunities for local individuals and businesses. Robin Ashford has also been named manager of the credit union’s Point Arena branch. She has more than 20 years’ experience in customer service, and has worked in financial services for the past seven years. Ashford takes the place of previous Point Arena branch manager, Lindsay Jones, who is now headed to the Napa office as the new branch manager. There she oversees member service, staff management and training, and daily branch operations, as well as business development, community relations, and volunteer efforts in Napa.
