CUs Encouraged to Participate
Has your credit union completed the CUNA-League Examination Survey to bring areas of concern to the attention of federal and state regulators?
To complete this ongoing survey, click here.
Completion is very important in assisting the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues and Credit Union National Association (CUNA) in advocacy efforts to improve the exam process. The results will be used to track areas of concern and bring them to the attention of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), California Department of Business Oversight (DBO), and Nevada Financial Institutions Division (FID).
Credit unions are encouraged to participate in this survey, as it’s anticipated to provide important information, insight, and comparisons regarding credit unions’ exam experiences, which can be shared with regulators.
“We’re asking credit unions to complete this survey as soon as they can for their most recent exam, no matter when it was conducted,” said Sharon Lindeman, vice president of regulatory advocacy for the Leagues. “After your credit union's next exam, you will be able to complete a new survey for that one as well.”
Completion of the survey is completely anonymous and confidential. Individuals’ names—as well as the names of credit unions—will never be revealed to anyone outside of research analysts at CUNA.
For questions, you can contact CUNA at MktResearch@cuna.coop, or Leagues Vice President of Regulatory Advocacy Sharon Lindeman at sharonl@ccul.org (909-212-6063), or Leagues Vice President of Research and Collaboration Rita Fillingane at ritaf@ccul.org (909-212-6055).
