At the Nevada Credit Union League's (NCUL) Annual Business Meeting on Nov. 12 in Las Vegas, Clark County CU CEO Wayne Tew was installed as the board's new chairman. Outgoing Board Chairman and Great Basin FCU CEO Dennis Flannigan was recognized for his efforts over the past two years. Also in attendance were former California League president David Chatfield and Credit Union National Association President and CEO Bill Cheney, who were both recognized for their leadership in the movement. Also, the board passed a resolution to elect directors on an "at-large" basis rather than by district, and to decrease the number of board seats from seven to five.
