| SAFE CU Community Banking Manager Rachel Zillner helped raise more than $200,000 to build an outdoor classroom at Soil Born Farms, a nonprofit that teaches children in urban areas how sustainable farming works. Zillner participated in the fundraising drive as a member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s 2012 Leadership Sacramento class, with SAFE giving her the time off necessary to help lead the effort. In conjunction with this, SAFE also sponsored a $2,500 paver for an outdoor classroom, which will serve 2,500 area students and their families annually. |
