REGULATORY ADVOCACY WEBPAGE CREATED
Valuable Resource Supports CUs' Voice
The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues have announced a new Regulatory Advocacy Webpage under its current website for member credit union CEOs, executives, and compliance professionals to access for timely news on regulatory issues.
Sharon Lindeman, Vice President of Regulatory Advocacy for the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues
The new webpage will keep credit union professionals informed of current proposed rules and regulations, as well as their potential impact on credit unions. Continual updates to the webpage will be posted so members can stay informed on the latest events in the regulatory arena.
Members can access information regarding current proposed rules and comment deadline dates, as well as access PowerComment, the Leagues’ new online interactive tool for commenting on proposed rules. Additional resources include an archive of past League comment letters, a link to the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Regulatory Advocacy Reports, regulatory examination resources, and other useful information and documents.
"We're excited to introduce this valuable resource to our credit unions as they continually work toward maintaining compliance and preparing for future rules and regulations," said Sharon Lindeman, vice president of regulatory advocacy for the Leagues. "Through this new webpage, credit unions now have an added tool for staying current on state and federal compliance issues."
Additionally, up-to-date news on regulatory issues will also be posted so users can stay informed on the latest events in the compliance arena.
