123 Checks Delivered
The new year brought in some extra money to 123 California and Nevada credit unions that participated in the Sprint Credit Union Member Discount Program in 2013.
Member credit unions receive Sprint checks during the Southern California Credit union Alliance collaboration meeting.
Collectively, the credit unions received more than $1.1 million in marketing incentives, providing their members a total of $17.2 million in savings. To date, the program has saved California and Nevada credit union members approximately $52 million.
The program's total savings to date across the nation is $337 million.
During December 2013, the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues delivered checks to several credit unions, including LBS Financial CU, Golden 1 CU, San Francisco FCU, and Clark County CU, while other participating credit unions received their incentive checks by mail.
Credit unions can earn additional income through the Sprint Credit Union Member Discount Program by simply marketing Sprint to members. Special discounts such as waived activation fees, discounted phone plans, and lower-priced devices are offered to credit union members, saving them valuable dollars while building credit union loyalty.
