CEO of CMF Selected
The Mortgage Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), an advisory committee to the Board of the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO), has selected Community Mortgage Funding (CMF) Chief Executive Officer Andrea Blais as its new chairman.

In this role, she will be responsible for helping oversee the direction of the committee and its work, which includes regularly meeting to discuss new mortgage regulations and implementation, as well as other matters concerning the mortgage industry.

“Working with credit unions is a great honor I do not take lightly,” said Blais. “It brings me great joy to know that the work we are doing is helping members with what many will consider one of the biggest transactions of their lifetime—that of buying a home.”

Blais, a certified mortgage banker with more than 25 years of credit union experience, has been the CEO of CMF since 2009. Her experience has given her an in-depth understanding of the unique needs that credit unions have, particularly in relation to the mortgage industry.

“It is my hope that the MSAC will continue to assist in equipping our credit union partners with resources and solutions that will help them to serve their members more effectively,” Blais said. “I take great pride in serving alongside my fellow committee members as we continue to take strides for the overall betterment of the credit union industry.”
