Board Agenda: Cybersecurity, Insurance Rules, Fair Hiring

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board will hold its next open meeting on Thursday, October 19, at 7 a.m. (Pacific).

Matters to be considered include:

  • Board briefing on cybersecurity update.
  • Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (Part 745) for simplification of insurance rules.
  • Proposed Rule (Parts 701, 741, 746, 748 and 752) on fair hiring in banking.

The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues will monitor the board meeting and provide an update soon after.
