Sept. 14 Commercial RE Loan Accommodations & Workout Webinar

On September 14, from 11-12:30 p.m. (Eastern), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) will hold an “Ask the Regulators” webinar to explain revisions and additions to the Policy Statement on Prudent Commercial Real Estate Loan Accommodations and Workouts.

You can register here! This policy statement was issued on June 20, 2023.

During the webinar, staff of the agencies will review best practices for managing deteriorating and problem commercial real estate loans and workout arrangements, describe how supervisors assess the management of commercial real estate loan accommodations and workouts, and review supervisory expectations for valuations.

The webinar will include a Q&A session. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance via email at asktheregulators@stls.frb.org. Panelists will give priority to questions received by August 18.

Participants are encouraged to use the webinar audio on their computers for the best experience. Webinar materials will be archived for future viewing at the same link that is used for registration.
