MEET THE PRESENTERS
- Dr. Robert Eyler — Independent Economist for the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, Economist at Sonoma State University, and Director of the university’s Center for Regional Economic Analysis. Eyler is also a board member of Redwood Credit Union and specializes in local labor markets, households, consumer trends, interest rates, macroeconomic forecasting, and monetary/banking policies. He is president of Economic Forensics and Analytics (EFA), author of several academic research articles and books, and is routinely used as an expert witness.
- Michael Sacher — Principal of Sacher Consulting, retired Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) with more than 45 years of experience in the credit union industry, and former CFO/EVP of Xceed Financial FCU.
- Steve Rick — Chief Economist for CUNA Mutual Group, senior money/banking and economics lecturer with the University of Wisconsin’s Economics Department, and former advisor for the university’s Prochnow Graduate School of Banking. Steve conducts strategic research, analysis, and forecasting with a special emphasis on the credit union marketplace. His forecasts are a starting point for the strategic planning process and help create a clear understanding of underlying trends between the general economy and credit unions.
