The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Board will meet on Thursday, April 18 at 7 a.m. (Pacific).  This will be the first board meeting with Rodney Hood as chairman and Todd Harper as a board member.

It is also the first board meeting with a full three-person board since Debbie Matz left the board in 2016.

The board’s agenda for the open meeting includes only one item, an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding “Compensation in Connection with Loans to Members.” This issue is included as a Tier 1 priority (first 24 months) in the NCUA’s Regulatory Reform Task Force Report.

The report recommends the NCUA modify Part 701.21 to provide flexibility with respect to senior executive compensation plans that incorporate lending as part of a broad and balanced set of organizational goals and performance measures.

NCUA Board meetings are broadcast via livestream video and can be accessed from NCUA’s homepage at www.ncua.gov. Open board meetings are also tweeted live; follow @TheNCUA on Twitter.
