Nearly 110 people participated in this year’s 10th annual Multi-Chapter PAC Golf Tournament, held May 13 at The Oaks Club at Valencia (in Valencia, CA)! Click here for a photo gallery of the event.

Volunteers representing credit unions within the Greater Valley, Channel, Orange County, Tri-County, and San Diego-Imperial chapters helped to make the tournament a success and raised more than $75,200 for the California Credit Union League’s Political Action Committee.

The League’s PAC allows credit unions to support candidates who understand the credit union difference.

Golfers were awarded with first, second, and third-place foursomes, as well as closest-to-hole, circle, and hole-in-one recognitions. As usual, the much-anticipated putting contest was held before tee-off—a yearly “favorite.”

Congratulations to the winners! Everyone who participated put their best foot forward for the credit union cause, with the following individuals claiming this year’s winning titles:

  • First place: Joe Calderon, Jim Lovell, Terry Nicks, and George Price.
  • Second place: Scott Coe, Bruce Coggin, James Ledford, and Dave Salm.
  • Third place: Jay Lassiter, Bill Rice, Gary Vicer, and Steve Wearley.
  • Closest to center of circle (#10): JT Wood (men’s) and none for the women.
  • Closest to hole (#4, 11 and 16): Nikki Glowin, Steve O’Connell, and Jeff Fry.
  • Hole in one — all (#4, 11 and 16): none.
  • Hole in one — car (#9): none.
  • Putting Contest: Nikki Glowin (women’s) and Dave Salm (men’s).

Several of the day’s participants were also involved in the raffle drawing, with prizes such as state-of-the-art headphones, sunglasses, gift cards, baseball tickets, a gift basket, and more. The grand prize winner of this year’s drawing (a brand new iMac lap top) went to Shannon Kirby.

Contributions will be attributed to the CCUL-PAC (Independent Expenditure Account). Contributions are not tax-deductible for state or federal tax purposes.
