New Directors Appointed to CCUL Board

SESLOC FCU CEO Geri LaChance and Novo FCU CEO Rosie Zarubick have been appointed to the California Credit Union League board as At Large Director and Asset Group A Director, respectively.

“On behalf of the California Credit Union League Board of Directors, I want to extend a warm welcome to new board members Rosie Zarubick and Geri LaChance,” said Nader Moghaddam, board chairman and CEO of Financial Partners CU. “With the same breath, we thank Stephen Serfozo for his years of service and leadership on the board and look forward to collaborating with Teresa Freeborn who will continue her work as the liaison with the CUNA board. The California Credit Union League board is committed to serving the interests of the League, and we feel the addition of the new board members will only add to the balance and strength of our efforts.”

LaChance has been the CEO of SESLOC FCU since 2011. She serves on the Executive Committee for the Credit Union for Kids Wine Auction benefitting Children’s Miracle Network and previously served on the California Credit Union League Audit Committee. 

Zarubick began her credit union career more than 30 years ago as a part-time teller, and in 2012 became the third CEO in Novo FCU’s 56-year history. She is a graduate of Cal State San Bernardino and Western CUNA Management School.
