As Maui credit unions and their employees continue evacuating wildfires and serving members to the best of their ability during this week’s disaster, California and Nevada credit unions and their employees can send immediate financial assistance to help their peers in Hawaii through CUAid.
CUAid directly and immediately connects your support with local credit unions in need. The action-response CUAid Disaster Recovery app harnesses the generosity of the credit union movement to provide grant assistance in times of emergency, utilizing disaster relief for impacted credit unions and their employees.
For credit unions and individuals who are able and willing to contribute to their industry colleagues in Maui, quickly coordinating resources to them is essential right now as evacuations continue!
You can download the CUAid app on the Apple App Store (please email the National Credit Union Foundation at ncuf@ncuf.coop if you have trouble downloading). You can also find the mobile app on the Google Play Store — or download the computer desktop version here.
For general questions regarding the CUAid program, please email the Foundation.
The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, Hawaii Credit Union League, and credit unions and their staff in the Maui vicinity appreciate ANY financial assistance that you or your credit union can provide during such an overwhelming time for local credit unions and their staff.
