The Sacramento Valley Credit Union Network (SVCUN-CCUL), made up of a network of credit union representatives of the California Nevada Credit Union League (CCUL) throughout the greater Sacramento region, welcomed economist, Sanjay Varshney, PhD, CFA to a gathering on May 18 at the corporate headquarters of SAFE CU to give an economic forecast for the region. More than 40 attendees from five area credit unions including SAFE CU, Golden1 CU, Patelco CU, Sierra Central CU, and SchoolsFirst FCU, and Alliance Reverse Mortgage took part in this gathering to dive deeper into the state of the local economy and what the future holds for the region.
