13th Multi-Network PAC Golf Tournament Raises Over $131K

More than 150 golfers and volunteers from two dozen credit unions participated in this year’s 13th annual Multi-Network Golf Tournament, held July 17 at Glendora Country Club in Glendora, CA — raising over $131,000 toward the credit union cause!

Volunteers representing credit unions within the Greater Valley, Pacific Coast, Beach Cities, Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, and San Diego League Networks helped to make the tournament a success.

The League’s PAC (California Credit Union League Political Action Committee) allows credit unions to support state and federal legislative candidates who understand the credit union difference. Proceeds help the League toward achievement of its political action goals for the benefit of the credit union movement.

Golfers were awarded with first, second, and third-place foursomes, as well as closest-to-pin recognitions.

Congratulations to the winners! Everyone who participated put their best foot forward for the credit union cause, with the following individuals claiming this year’s winning titles:

• First place (58): Marvel Ford, Alex Kirin, Jason Lesterberg, and Charles Lacuesta.
• Second place (60): Jake Harbour, Manny Horner, and Justin Roscoe.
• Third place (62): Bill Birnie, Paul Leonhardt, Robert Ross, and Brian Vinn.
• Closest to pin: Earl McKinnley, Bruce Lund, Steve Boyle, and Steve Owen.

Several of the day’s participants were also involved in the raffle drawing, winning the following prizes donated by the League, various local League Networks, and credit union system-partner vendors:
