Next Certified CU Financial Counselor Session Starts in July

The next Financial Counselor Academy program starts on July 12. This 13-week course, hosted by the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues and the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation, will help you become a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) so you can help your members on their financial journey. Sixty-five students have already earned their designation through this program.

About the Financial Counselor Academy
The Financial Counselor Academy greatly enhances the self-study Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) offered by the Credit Union National Association. The program includes weekly tutorial and study guide webinars that reinforce the book learning, as well as interactive live and virtual workshops that bring the topics to life. Participants will learn how to develop a financial counseling program at their credit union, participate in roleplaying exercises, and uncover opportunities beyond counseling.

Dates
The sessions are online (except for the in-person capstone session) and run from July 12 – October 10.
