In addition to the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues’ exciting advocacy events during the 2023 REACH conference last week, the REACH Annual Sweepstakes was also launched!
This was the last fundraising push of this year to support the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) federal PAC, the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC). With an astounding 75 credit union leaders participating, the inaugural sweepstakes successfully raised $18,170, surpassing yet another fundraising goal.
This year, the REACH Annual Sweepstakes prize was a Disneyland Dream Vacation.
“We are thrilled to announce that our lucky winner is David Kantar of Financial Partners Credit Union,” said Angelica Pappalardo, political advocacy manager for the Leagues. “Congratulations, David! We hope you have an amazing time at Disneyland and create memories that will last a lifetime.”
Not only was the sweepstakes exciting, but it also served a greater purpose. The Leagues’ gratitude goes out to everyone who participated in the sweepstakes.
“Your support plays a vital role in advancing our mission and making a positive impact on important political issues,” Pappalardo said.
