Tuesday morning during the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues’ annual REACH 2023 conference was full of “Meet Ups,” as colleagues and credit unions leaders rubbed elbows and met face to face on important topics and issues impacting their industry and professional networks.

With nearly 800 attendees arrived in Las Vegas for REACH, many said they know the Leagues’ annual gathering is more than just a conference — it’s a large-scale, business-strategy think tank that’s mixed with friendly activities, fun events, and valuable networking.
Over the course of four days, hundreds of industry leaders and professionals will convene on tactics and solutions to strengthen their credit unions and elevate the impact on their local members and communities.
“Meet Ups” included Western CUNA Management School (WCMS) alumni, credit union political advocacy supporters, mid-sized credit union CEOs, Shapiro Group CEOs and leaders from smaller credit unions, Richard Myles Johnson Foundation leaders and supporters, Credit Union Women’s Leadership Alliance members, and board of directors for the Leagues.
While they came from all over California and Nevada to hear from world-class keynote speakers, participate in dynamic educational breakout sessions, discover the latest offerings from the industry’s best providers, and join in exclusive opportunities and gatherings, they also know the value in meeting within their own professional networks to gain insights, encourage each other, and take relevant strategies back home.
These pre-conference meetings provided an intimate and active learning environment where attendees collaborated with like-minded peers on specific topics to help each other navigate — and thrive in — a rapidly changing financial landscape!
